Turning the training into graduate credit
University of Massachusetts Global is the university behind the credit, and it is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). A teacher who signs up can earn up to four graduate-level semester credits per seminar, though nobody is required to.
There is a separate fee for the credit, paid directly to UMass Global by the teacher. It is apart from what the training costs, and the registration form for it is available at the end of the training.
Credit is awarded when the teacher completes a follow-up practicum. The practicum happens in the teacher's own classroom and must be done within six months. To ask about credit, contact Chera Rodgers at cdrodgers98@gmail.com.
